Depo International Big Sponsor at Golf Tournament

MINNESOTA– The Hennepin County Bar Foundation 2009 Charity Golf Classic held on August 10 at Burl Oaks Golf Club in Minnetrista was a huge success, thanks in part to beautiful weather, an amazing turnout and the dedicated effort of Depo International. Depo International has proudly and consistently supported the event and this year was no exception. Patricia Carl, Angela Carl, Molly Sandas and Perri Campion of Depo International enjoyed the beautiful summer weather, handing out refreshments and snack bags, cheering on all the players, and, of course, proudly representing the company’s sponsored hole with a “closest to the pin” contest.

The lucky golfer of Depo International’s grand prize—a giant, fifty-inch, plasma screen television–was The Honorable Charles Porter, Hennepin County District Court Judge. But the real winners are the kids who benefit from The Link, a program for at-risk youth. Judge Porter announced plans to donate his prize to that program. “We couldn’t be more proud or supportive of his decision, as I’m sure they will be delighted to have a new television,” says Depo International founder Patricia Carl who jokingly adds that as much as he loves to golf, Judge Porter doesn’t have time to watch television anyway.

Carl says she was very pleased to see such an amazing turnout at this year’s outing. This is the thirtieth year that Depo International has served the Hennepin County Bar Foundation Golf Classic as a sponsor and Carl doesn’t plan to stop anytime soon. “We’ll continue to be right there for at least another thirty!” she says.
